The Installation of Gamma Pi Chapter of Sigma Zeta at Warner University

April 6th, 2017

Under the direction of Dr. Steven Darr and Dr. James Hall, the Gamma Pi Chapter of Sigma Zeta was installed on April 6th, 2017

The meeting was officially called to order by Dr. Hall at 7:04PM in the Ratzlaff Administration Building board room on the Warner University campus. 

Dr. Darr proceeded to install the chapter by welcoming the faculty members from the Natural Sciences department into membership.

Dr. Liana Sanchez, Dr. Beth Burch, Dr. Kelly Gorgan, Mr. Loi Ho, Dr. Robert Lamar, Mr. Barrett McDonald, and Ms. Nicole Schanke were present for the installation.  Mr. Daniel Estabrooks and Mr. Silvano Falcao were welcomed in absentia

At 7:06PM Dr. Darr explained some of the symbolism of the organization.  The faculty were presented with certificates.

At 7:11, the student candidates were addressed and welcomed to membership in the organization with a certificate and a pin.  These students included:

Ms. Krizia Burke-Forde

Ms. Megan Hammett

Mr. Martin Krueger

Mr. Juan Lares

Ms. Kathryn Millan

Ms. Victoria Stevenson

Mr. Brandon Watkins

At 7:20PM, Dr. Hall called to order the first business meeting of the Gamma Pi chapter of Sigma Zeta at Warner University.  The student officers of the chapter include:

Ms. Victoria Stevenson, President

Ms. Kathryn Millan, Vice President

Ms. Megan Hammett, Secretary

Mr. Juan Lares, Treasurer

These new officers were installed and ran the remainder of the meeting. 

At 7:22PM, Dr. Hall presented the charter of the chapter to President Stevenson.  Dr. Hall then discussed some of the history of Sigma Zeta. 

President Stevenson made acknowledgements and brought the meeting to a close at 7:24PM. 

Meeting adjourned at 7:24PM.
