Sigma Zeta National Convention Abstract Submission Form

2022 Submitted Abstracts

2022 National Convention
Concordia College Hosting (Virtual Format)

Please submit abstracts electronically using the form below two weeks prior to the convention (March 10, 2022). Submissions after this date may NOT be accepted for presentation.

Instructions: Fill in the information and your abstract in the form below and click the Submit Abstract button at the bottom of the page.

Anticipated presentation times are from 9:00–12:00 on Friday, March 25 and 8:20 - 11:40 on Saturday, March 26. If you have a preference for one of these mornings, be sure to indicate your preference on the form below. Such requests will be honored on a first-come, first-served basis.

Poster presentations:

During the Friday afternoon poster sessions, those presenting will be assigned to individual breakout rooms where other conference attenders can drop in to view, listen to a quick presentation and ask questions. Instructions on how to prepare for a virtual presentation will be forthcoming, but a 3-4 PPT slide format works well. A 3-5 minute pre-recorded presentation will be requested to be submitted from each speaker in advance.

Oral presentations:

Oral presentations will be conducted on Friday and Saturday mornings with a room moderator introducing each speaker, opening for questions from the audience and keeping on schedule. Each presentation will be limited to 20 minutes (15 minute presentation plus 5 minutes for questions). As a fallback due to potential connectivity issues on the day of the event, a 10-15 minute pre-recorded presentation will be requested to be submitted from each speaker in advance.

A conference schedule will be sent out to all registered participants via email. The schedule will contain the Zoom link to be used for the conference.

If you have questions, please contact the conference co-hosts:
