Information for Presenters
Sigma Zeta Presentation Awards
Student members of Sigma Zeta are encouraged to present their research at the Annual National Convention. Exemplary student presentions are selected by the Presention Awards Committee to receive a Sigma Zeta Presentation Award. Usually an award is given for both the best oral/paper presentation and the best poster presentation.
For the poster presentations: You should put together a Powerpoint presentation (see tutorial below) that consists of 3-5 slides of your poster and be no longer than 5 minutes.
For the oral presentations: You should plan to give your presentation live, but we also ask you to pre-record your presentation to be viewed, if needed, by attendees. The oral presentation should be recorded using Powerpoint (see tutorial below). It should consist of 15-20 slides and be no longer than 15 minutes.
All registered presenters who have submitted an abstract submission form will receive an email with instructions for uploading their presentation file to a OneDrive folder shortly after the March 5th deadline. You will not have to upload your video recording to YouTube yourself. Sigma Zeta’s Webmaster will upload your presentation video to our society’s YouTube channel. Prior to the convention, direct links to each recorded presentation will be posted to our website for easy access and viewing
