Each year since 2011, the national chapter of Sigma Zeta has awarded funding to undergraduate student members doing research with a faculty member at their home institution. Each proposal submitted is eligible to receive up to a maximum award of $500 to support the research. To be eligible, proposals mut be submitted by:
- A student member of an active chapter of Sigma Zeta.
- Have a faculty mentor at their home institution that is willing to write a letter of evaluation.
